You have not come to this website by chance. God is at work in your life. So, welcome! Make yourself at home. First English is one church with multiple locations: this website, a beautiful traditional facility near downtown Appleton, a newly-built contemporary facility on the growing edge of town, a thrift store named Echoes, and especially wherever our members are living out Christ’s call to love and care for each other and creation.

First English Lutheran Church is a nearly 100-year-old Protestant congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We are People of God who Gather to Worship, Grow in Faith, and Give to Others. We welcome ALL people and invite you to participate fully in the life of our congregation.

Worship times:
Sundays: 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.
Learning Time: 9:35 a.m.

The 8 a.m. worship service is broadcast weekly on Time Warner Cable channel 4 at 11 a.m. Sunday morning (one week delay).
