Welcome to the First English website.
You have not come to this website by chance.  God is at work in your life.  So, welcome!  Make yourself at home.  First English is one church with multiple locations: this website, a beautiful traditional facility near downtown Appleton, a newly-built contemporary facility on the growing edge of town, a thrift store named Echoes, and every place where our members are living out Jesus’ call to love Him and others.
First English Lutheran Church is a nearly 100-year-old Protestant congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).  Our purpose is this: Love Jesus. Live your call. We welcome ALL people and invite you to participate fully in the life of our congregation.
