Life Groups

Community building is one of our primary tasks as a gathering of faithful people. However, at times it is difficult to make connections on a busy Sunday morning. Life Groups is an opportunity for people to get to know one another and support one another outside of the Sunday gathering.

What is a Life Group? A Life Group is a group of people who meet at least once a month. They vary in size depending on the purpose. The common theme of a Life Group is connecting with people in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying each other bound by faith.

What is the purpose of a Life Group? You decide! All Life Groups are meant to help us feel more connected to others in the congregation and to our faith, but each group has a focus. Most are primarily social in nature, but will include a time to reflect on a Christian element (prayer, devotion, book, etc.) Groups use common interests such as playing cards, dining out or outdoor activities to name a few. Some groups already meet regularly but there is always room for more so share your passions with us to get a new group going!

Life Groups continue to do engaging things and enjoy each other’s company. In some cases, these groups even contribute to church and community life in new and exciting ways.  Here’s a brief list of the groups that have taken shape:

  • Daytime Women’s Book Club
  • Men’s Biking and Brews
