Important items of information:
- Finance/Budget review: Credit card is about to expire …
for store purchases. Kathy will get with Amy Henderson, Jean Monson to
renew. Discussion was added as to
whether Brenda S. should be added (and we agreed that would be a good
thing short term) and perhaps one of the Jeff’s in case there was a need.
I agreed to be part of the staff (if needed) to have my signature
authorized as well. Kathy will let me know when she sets up this
appointment.
- We need to check with Don Monson about the
allocations for FELC and when would make sense to start our own account
for Echoes. This is in line with the goals of getting set up as a 501 3c.
- Temple talks this Sunday for the fill the
trailers drive. Kathy will be doing the downtown site and Jeff C. will be
handling the North site. Paul Hoffman will be coordinating the trailer. We
are hoping that Bruce Doerfler will leave his trailer downtown … Paul H.
will take his to the North Site. Jack Swanson might be the mobile guy with
his trailer.
- Suggestion was made to create a MR. Fixit table
in the back of Echoes. Paul Hoffman was interested in setting this up.
- Concern was raised about our new neighbors
potentially scaring away our clientele. Kathy agreed to have a preliminary
discussion with their manager.
Alternatives may include asking the landlord to move their entrance
to east side of the building.
- Sue Swanson agreed to send out a mailing to
assisted living centers in case there were items that may be scheduled for
pickup at these locations that might be donated to Echoes.
