Time & Talent form review:

· Change midweek to Wednesday meals.

· Possibly discontinue Tables of Eight for a while or change name.

· Add subgroups:

- Time & Talent

- 50+

- Health

- Prayer

Volunteer fair status:

• Cancel and instead have a temple talk as to why volunteers are important.

Make the move from temple talk to possible sermon to give ownership of volunteer activity, i.e., this is my MINISTRY

• Make sure every person on ministry team takes the spiritual inventory. Pastor Dismer, Jean and Ellen: Talk with Mo about taking the inventory. How can we use the results of the inventory? How do we connect the Time & Talent with the Spiritual Inventory/Faith in Action, etc.?

Prayer ministry revisited:

• Currently only prayer shawls and prayer chains.
• Need a subgroup to lead.

Need sermons on prayer, too.

Discussed a possible prayer net as a visible representation of prayer

- Highlight prayer chain, put in newsletter or Web site as to how to get in the prayer chain.

- Do Prayer 101 as a temple talk so it reaches all people.

Revisit Stephens Ministry in August, possibly to be part of prayer group

Pictorial update: To date, half the sign-ups have been on line. (41 out of 81).

Picnic recap: Around 275 people served. Next year, get ministry teams to help with different portions of the picnic.

Misc.: Gordon Jeppson will pursue the Outreach & Social Ministry Team instead of Congregational Life. Karen gave a brief update on the health ministry.
