Important items of information:

Jean Monson, as coordinator of the Time & Talent program, presented history of FELC Time & Talent/Stewardship campaigns/programs. Suggestion/discussion on the pros and cons of combining the Time & Talent and Stewardship programs for the 2009 campaign.

Reviewed the Vision 2 Serve concept

Decision was made to stay with the ’08 logo “Generation to Generation”

The following dates have been set for the 2009 Time & Talent/Stewardship campaign: October 25 Temple Talks based on Giving of Time and Talents

November 1 Temple Talks based on Financial Giving

November 8 Time and Talents Commitments

November 15 Pledge Commitments

Goal will be to lift of the ministries of FELC, encourage members to make a ‘step up’ in their giving, and supply information to members on the relevance of pledging. Suggest that messages for these Sundays emphasize the idea ‘It is a gift to be able’.

Rick is continuing to work on planning and compiling information for a Temple Talk which emphasizes the youth program. Possible dates for this Temple Talk are: May 31 or June 7. Rick is coordinating this with Andy M.
