Items that may require Council action:

• We need to look at either keeping the Memorial Fund separate from the church’s general fund or keeping a record of the intention of the money given.

Important items of information:

• Finance/budget review: We need to cut 5 percent from our budget. We could remove the microphones proposed for both sites since they are also on the memorial list. The list still needs to be publicized and promoted.
• The North Site would like to move forward on raising money to purchase LCD panels for the sanctuary. The cost is projected at $10,000.
• As we look at LCD panels and sound systems for the North Site, we also need to look at the orientation of the sanctuary. If we want to change it from its current position, or allow for flexibility later, we need to incorporate that in the sound and visual systems.

• We still need more people to host the Wittenberg Choir members on Tuesday, March 10. Each host would accommodate two performers, provide beds that evening and breakfast the next morning.
• There has been a good response to the bulletin insert requesting song leaders for the 9:15 a.m. service at the Downtown Site.

• The Lent/Easter theme will be Watch and Pray, and individual focus areas for each week and Holy Day have been determined as well. Carrie Kiekhaefer has completed the designs for the bulletins to reflect the theme.
• The process which will be used in our protocol meetings was discussed. We are starting with the two North Site services.

REMEMBER: March 10 ministry team meetings will begin early – at 6:15 p.m. – and end and at 7:15 p.m. to accommodate the Wittenberg Choir concert that begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Downtown Sanctuary.
