Important items of information:

• Reviewed receptions for Melissa and Bob. In the future, need to be sure to announce any special receptions at all services.
• Discussed Advent services. Theme: “Wait and Watch”

1. Nov. 30 – for the dawn

2. Dec. 7 – for the hope of the world

3. Dec. 14 – for the light of the world

4. Dec. 21 – for the son of God

- Will use bells and chimes to begin each service.

- Visuals/decorations will increase weekly.

- Have children participate.

- Favorite Advent hymns: Melissa will coordinate.

- “Wait and Watch” design for bulletins by Mike & Sharon Brosnan

- Working on getting volunteers at both sites.

• Surveys have been summarized; will work on them next month.

New business

• Wittenberg University Concert Choir: Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Have early ministry team meeting. Choir is 50 members and will need 20-25 host families.
• Thanksgiving services only at Downtown Site. Wednesday evening and 9 a.m. on Thursday.
• Christmas services: Downtown – 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.; North site – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
