The Arthur Krempin School of Music & Art, based at First English, is a community outreach for youth music and art education.
Among the programs at The Arthur Krempin School of Music & Art:
- Musikgarten is a music and movement program that helps to nurture children’s inborn musical abilities. The program offers classes for parents and their children, from newborns through age 7. Classes meet once each week for 12 weeks.
Traci Diehl, a licensed Musikgarten instructor, says the goal of the program is to help families make music an integral part of their home.
“My goal for our Musikgarten program is to nurture our natural abilities for music and to learn to have fun with music for a lifelong love of music with the entire family,” says Diehl. “At the same time, we can expand children’s levels of social, emotional, cognitive and motor abilities.” For more information on the program, or to register, call Traci Diehl at 920-757-6176.
- Energetic mission and outreach programs, including: Children’s Palace, a summer enrichment program for neighborhood youth; Alternative Gift Market; Fair Trade Coffee Sales, Lutheran World Relief Projects and ECHOES Gift & Thrift.
.
