Emotional & Spiritual Support

Emotional and Spiritual Support During Covid-19

During this challenging time First English and the Mental Health Ministries wants to offer support to members of the congregation and community in as many ways as possible. We will be offering mental health and community resource information as it becomes available. In addition, we will post an “In Mindsight: Bit of Mental Health Info” tip or insight to keep your mind, body, and spirit healthy over the next few weeks.

In Mindsight - Bits of Mental Health Info (a new tip every Wednesday during the pandemic):

Start an online book club with friends or family.  Choose a book that reminds you of a time in history you spent together or place you lived or traveled to together.   Meet once a week via Zoom and share the memories and laughs.  Or maybe choose a book with mental health strategies and encourage one another.
You’ll be able to support old friends while learning together.
