Children's Learning Hour

The Children's Learning Hour is open
to all members and visitors from preschool to Grade 12 at both sites beginning the first Sunday after Labor Day through the Sunday before Memorial Day.

When & Where:          
9:30 a.m. Sundays at the Downtown Site

9:45 a.m. Sundays at the North Site.

Confirmation

A confirmation program is offered to seventh-, eighth- and ninth-graders from September through April.

When & Where:          
6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Downtown Site.

Holy Communion Class

A Holy Communion Class is offered to children ages 8 and older each May and September. A one-hour parent orientation is held one week before the class. The two-day session prepares children for the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Parent-Child Play Group

The Nursery is full of giggles and fun as moms and kids gather to play and chat from 9 to 11 a.m. every Monday in the Nursery at the Downtown Site.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is offered to children ages 3 through Grade six.

When & Where:    
VBS begins the first week in August at the North Site.

Day Camp and Adventure Camp

A day camp is offered for students throughout the Fox Valley who are in Grades one through five. Adventure Camp is offered for students in Grades six through eight. Many of our summer college interns serve as camp counselors.

When & Where:    
Both camps are held in June or July at Plamann Park on Broadway Drive on Appleton’s north side, just south of the First English North Site.

Christian Cooperative Preschool

Christian Cooperative Preschool is in the lower level of First English Lutheran Church,
326 E. North St., Appleton. Christian Cooperative School serves students ages 3 through 5.
